Symptoms of postpartum depression

The mother may feel anxious after childbirth, but this does not mean he was suffering from postpartum depression. It may be a postpartum anxious or panic disorder
Signs of this condition include strong anxiety and fear, rapid breathing, fast heartbeat, cold or heat waves, chest pain and dizziness. If you have any of these symptoms you should contact your doctor

In addition to the basic symptoms such as sadness, depression and loss of energy among the signs of postpartum depression include the following: 
• a sense of restlessness or agitation

• feelings of sadness and crying often

• lack of energy

• headaches, chest pains, heart palpitations, hyperventilation

• inability to sleep or severe fatigue, or both

• loss of appetite and weight loss or overeating and weight gain

• inability to focus, memory and decision making

• excessive concern about the lack of interest of the child or the child

• feelings of guilt and worthlessness

• Fear of injury to a child or yourself

• lack of interest in activities, including sex
